This new Que is kind of stupid. I would rather have a chance of doing a lane I do not want than wait

Am I the only one who finds the new Que to be a bit dumb? I mean, I wait for over 10 min to find a game when I want mid/top. I used to wait like 60-120 seconds for a game. I do not want to Que for ADC or Sup because I do not want to play them. But I am willing to if I have to. This really just seems like it caters to the people who would go into a lobby and say "Mid or feed" to me. I do not know anyone who actually likes it this way. Can someone point out the good side of this to me?
