Is AD fizz a thing?

It seems like I have been hearing more and more about it lately. And I am pretty sure I have even seen Pro's do it. Though looking at builds of recent games everyone seems to be going AP on him. He is one of the few champs I do not have. But playing him AD top sounds kind of fun. Though i do not think I would play him mid. Who knows, maybe I would get him and love him AP. But I am just wondering. Is it not as good to play him AD? BTW, I am in shit elo. So anything CAN work. Just wondering how well.

while not as mainstream anymore AD Fizz can still work, go the now classic Blade of the Ruined King into tank and just rofl as your w shreds ppl with the good amount of on-hit dmg it does(aka why the % dmg part of his w got moved back to the passive effect) also try and get around 40% cdr so you can constantly have w active, plus having an escape on a 5 sec cd is pretty nice

As an assassin, building fizz AD does work quite nicely....
