Vote to dodge?

I think there should be an option to vote for a dodge. If at least 4 people vote for it, then the game is dodged and no one has to wait for a new game/lose LP. Because of stuff like the lobby I just dodged. The first pick says "I am to pro, I do not need to ban anyone!" So he does not ban until someone says "I am going to play Yi." Then he bans Yi. Then he says "I am just going to run around and feed every lane." And based on his ranked match history, he was not joking.

Times like this it should be a free dodge. I did not lose any LP for it. Not sure why... So I am okay with that. But I know most they time you lose LP for a dodge.

This is not a good idea. First of all it would take forever to get in to a game, everyone would just dodge until they got a perfect team, or the lane they want or the bans they want or the champ they want.

Second, it is just one more reason for people to rage, 2 or 3 people want to dodge and would start the game telling everyone how stupid they are for not dodging.

Yes it can be frustrating not having the best team going in to a ranked game but this isn't the solution.

I disagree. Not having the best team =/= having a troll. I think if you can get four members of a five-man team to agree that dodging is a good idea, it's probably a good idea. And flamers gonna flame. I've been bitched out before for not dodging fifth pick or even last pick in normals. It's one more thing for people to rage about, yeah, but they would have raged anyway.

honestly doesn't matter if you disagree or not, most people who are actually doing ranked will call none meta picks "troll picks" even if you do not personally agree with it. For the majority it will be abused and if team-builder isn't a good enough example for you, i don't know what will convince you.

Meah, I understand what you are saying. And I am sure you are right. I feel like my idea of perma banning people from playing ranked the first time they troll will work better. And not a "You did not pick a champ that the pros pick and build them just like the pros do!!" Meat sheep idea of troll. But the people that just run from lane to lane dying, after saying they are going to feed. Or the people that say "BTW, I am gonna AFK. Good luck 4v5, lol." as soon as the game starts and then does so. They should not be allowed to play ranked at all. And the "Maybe they are having a bad day." Well I feel bad for them. But it is not my fault they are having a bad day.

If you give us the option for a 4/5 vote to not play the game, high elo games will cease to exist. People have a pretty clear understanding of who won the picks and bans.

Maybe it shouldn't exist at high ELO? If you're that good you're probably not a troll, I would think. Us bronze/silver players tho...

There are trolls in high elo too. Typically it's a more strategic sort of troll -- someone is basically playing chicken because they want someone else to dodge for them. For example, a player might be in his promos and think his team got hopelessly outpicked, or there's drama over who gets to go mid or something. In such a case, the last pick might pick support Teemo and hope for someone else to dodge the game for him.

That said, having a system that makes it possible to dodge without penalty will result in an explosion of trolls. This isn't a hypothetical thing; we had exactly this at the end of season 2 when they replaced the elo penalty with a time penalty only. 100x trolling rate in a month, easy.

Anytime dodging becomes just a minor inconvenience, trolls come out of the woodwork. The reason for this is pretty simple: ranked trolls troll in order to get you to dodge. They don't want to play revive/tp support Karthus any more than you want it on your team. If it doesn't work, they don't troll.

vote to kick was a better idea tbh. It should freeze the ban/pick phase and allow a vote to be cast to kick out the player. It must be at least a 3/5(so duo trolls can't ruin games with 2 no votes like they can in game)

last few AM ranked games I've played I've experience these feeding duos that refuse to surrender at 20 when they have a combined death count of over 20-10 deaths by the 20 minute mark(meaning they've died at least once every minute... if you do the math.. or every other minute if its only ten.. thats god awful btw... I don't even do that poorly when I'm on 120+ ping) I don't mind losing. But god is it tilting when you get a duo that doesn';t surrener and then has the balls to blame anyone but themselves LOL its amusing to see them vote no, cause I only assume they're trolling the other 2 people on my team or me. I 4 mute, I have no idea if they're actually typing, Idc either. actions speak louder than words ever will.

Vote kick has always been a bad idea. It is way too easy to abuse.

I get what you're saying, and it drives me nuts when a group doesn't understand that 11 to 45 kills, a win is pretty much unattainable at a certain point. I've found other ways of dealing with those types of games though and just move on to the next attempt.

No dude, there should just be a dodge button bellow your team members side of the room. If someone does something you don't like, you can dodge but have a small penalty of 2 minutes and 30 seconds being half the penalty for not picking champs and leaving a room gaining a 5 minute penalty.

I like the idea of dodge button with same penalty instead of having to close the entire client. Im not perfect I do dodge once in a while but mostly i got to every game with FILL in my head because best way to make entire team happy but damn when 4 people fight over mid or top or adc its so annoying that u just have to dodge. One button same effect sounds like the plan to me

But how often do they really get ban? Because I look at their match history. They HAVE to have been reported before. But no ban.

I totally agree with this. If 1-2 people come into the champion select and express their intention to troll/feed/ruin the game in some way, remaining players should be able to vote for a dodge. 3/5 votes should be sufficient since trolls are able to go into ranked queues as a duo.
