Kindred is a slightly better jungler but very slightly.

besides that Quinn is far better in mid and top than kindred

Really like Quinn mid, she's a lot of fun.

Kindred isn't that amazing as a mid, top, or even ADC. The issue with kindred as a "roaming adc" is she either 1: has a useless passive because she rarely gets the marks that define her power spike as a jungler or 2: roams so much that her lane is gone because nothing is guarding the turret, or leaves her support for dead. (think bards that roam for chimes, except this time somebody is missing CS)

In top lane she gets squished by juggernauts because even with the range, she can't poke without being punish.. her damage scaling against tanks looks less and less relavent, and she eventually just melts.. getting ganked is super easy as well as her only escapes are W and Q, which just burns mana. If she snowballs top, she still seems less scary when roaming as her marks are pretty few and she can be punished for lacking that power spike and being frail. You also sacrifice a tank on your team, meaning less engage.

Quinn on the other hand.. she doesn't have a minigame that requires roaming or early game kills to be useful. Her E is an anti-everything.. she gets ganked? Push them back and run with E, up against a juggernaut? Never let them farm with E poke cause they can't do anything to punish it. Allies in trouble? Test the speed of their MIA pings as you ult all over the map. She has the same issue with taking up the tank slot but she snowballs so hard that their tank never gets their late game quick enough. Her damage spike is threatning the entire game. While she doesn't have an engage to team fights, she has massive back door potential while your team just stands and destract all 5 of them by turret.

I'd say go quinn if you're looking for something more flexible, kindred is just best left in the jungle and it amazes me how many adc kindreds I've seen go on losing streaks and still continue to do it instead of the kindred in the same match jungling and going 15/0. Mid lane kindred is scary since everything is just as frail, but at the same time it's a 50/50.. she doesn't counter anything and she don't get countered, but most mid laners melt her with distance (vel, zed, yas to an extent).

They can both go bot lane, kindred with the right support (you need to stomp them early so you can roam to get your marks), Quinn with just about any support. It will be a bit harder at first, but one you learn her, you'll be hard pressed to be beat
