Gave Smite a try...

On PS4....I HIGHLY recommend it. Standard MOBA stereotype differences aside...for all you who are fed up with League/Riot/this community, I really think you should give this a go:

  • Every ability is a skill shot (including auto attacks)...goodbye #rightclickafk
  • Can only communicate through the preset voice commands (communication is not a problem, there are loads of commands and very easy to learn the shortcuts to get to them). Goodbye keyboard warriors.
  • Kills give hardly any gold, putting HEAVY stress on farming and taking objectives.
  • You can currently buy a lifetime bundle that gets you EVERY SINGLE CHAMP and ALL FUTURE CHAMPS for $30. Sold.
  • Gameplay is about the most fun I've ever had playing a videogame. Seriously, if you havn't tried it you need to.
  • Itemization is PERFECT as there are a ton of different interactions with different builds. Itemization truly feels situational, rather than having the standard "best build" meta.
  • There are LOADS of champ mechanics that dont/cant exist in League..making gameplay feel exceedingly refreshing/exciting.

Thats all I can think of right now...but, man, this game is awesome. I am not quitting League by any means....but I havn't played a League match in over 2 weeks and, most of all.....

IT IS ACTUALLY FUN TO PLAY AND DOESN'T JUST PISS YOU OFF REPEATEDLY!!!!

SMITE is ok for having some casual fun. I love it on PS4. Still love LoL more thou.

Lol people down voting, and im sure most of them haven't played smite. Guys you can like two moba's... don't worry I'm sure Riot wont feel betrayed If you play Smite every once in a while.

The only reason I stopped playing it was because they changed the main god I liked playing in a way I didn't like before I got into playing other gods. (RIP Vulcan's thumper turret)

It is a great game though. Definitely not perfect, as it does have balance problems like any game of that type does, but it's pretty darn good.

Played smite

League is better

  • Better Clarity *Strategy based but still has the action *Smite just feels sloppy imo (Not saying its bad, just that i cant stand it)

Overall, i love the Clarity, and just the champions and top-down style that league has over smite

The game is fun, and can only be compared to league in that it is a moba, with damn near identical maps. But funfact... The community ingame is worse than league! The only other game i could say that had a worse community would be... Archeage.

When the Adventuretime MOBA is more balanced than league... Really go check it out, it's really funny, and cute.

The problem there is owning a PS4. I've tried to download it on PC, but it keeps finding ways to not work, both through Hi-Rez and through Steam. I'd like to try it, but it doesn't want me to.
