Riot is getting out of hand...

...with their cash grab schemes..most recently:

  • Lowering the xp to get to 30. "We feel it takes took too long" ....LOL. No. They felt like they gave you too much opportunity to gain IP to spend on champs AND runes by the time you got to 30. Before, you could be 30 with 2 full rune pages and enough champs to enter ranked. Now, by the time you get to 30 you cant even fill out your rune pages, LET ALONE have enough champs to play ranked without spending money. So, basically, they are forcing you to spend you IP on runes and spend cash on champs. No way around this unless you want to be lvl 30 with empty rune pages.

  • Hextech player behavior bans. "We want to further punish people for being toxic." LOL. No. More like "Well...we couldn't justify permabanning you, forcing you to start a new account, forcing you to fall into the trap from my first point. So, instead, we are going to RESTRICT you for PAST OFFENSES for things THAT DIDNT EVEN EXIST AT THE TIME OF OFFENSE...therefor make you feel so left out of new content that you are going to be constantly pressured to make a new account.

The second point, in my opinion, is where they went over the line. Restricting people for past offenses from new content that didnt exist and the time of offense and/or had any knowledge it was going to exist and/or possibly punished in the future for is borderline criminal. Sure, they gave you a heads up 2 months or so ago when they announced hextech, but what about the offenses before that? Honestly...this embarrasses me.

Also, I have never peen punished by Riot...this simply speaks as to the company Riot is proving itself to be.

Have you forgotten how painful the grind was to get to thirty? Around levels 20-30 it took me 2 months to finally get to 30, and that is how long it takes. I played on a consistent basis as well...

what. WHAT. I'm going to show you a shot of my alt account: I've played most of my games before the recent patch and I am over half way through leveling:

  • Notice my amount of IP
  • I own 3 champs
  • and no runes

You don't get nice, new things when yr a dick you don't get to try nice things when you've been bad/break the rules: it's like being in time-out you don't get ranked rewards when you've recently been punished you shouldn't expect a new feature erase past punishments

why is anyone even surprised?? like, all of the information leading up to the release of hextech crafting said that bad behavior would result in a player not being able to get chests.

They are currently giving out IP boosts at lvl 20 as well to help compensate the lose of IP grinding to 30.
