My experience on dota 2 so far.

-Valve has a system where if any sort of server issues happen you will be automatically granted a loss prevented and none of your stats will be impacted no questions asked.

-reports actually impact accounts in this game (especially on the same day, and even within the hour if the person has really been an asshole.)

-Controls are super flexible and are capable of being damn near as the same as they are in league. (at least for my control set up it is.)

-I haven't ran into one person intentionally throwing the game because they got mad at someone. (in both normals and ranked matches)

-Nobody gives up because first blood everyone still tries their best no matter what.

-The game balance is amazing, just because they got a champion doesn't mean they will have a upper hand. There are also all kinds of characters to choose from which makes each game unique (i haven't ran into the same team comp more than once and ADCs are not mandatory because you can also carry with melee characters)

-The most important thing is, Every game where I got fed I was able to carry because of gold advantage, exp advantage, and item advantage. Every game where I was behind i was able to comeback because i outplayed my opponent via good positioning and dodging key abilities they needed to stomp me. There hasn't been a single character i ran into who can just mash there head against the keyboard and win because they got fed.

The truth is out there.

Dota2 is a well lot balanced game. Proof?

**You can ban 5 characters per side. **

League has more playable characters but less bans and the community keeps asking for more bans but Riot refuses to put more bans in place , because in truth a lot of playable characters in League are not viable. If Riot placed more bans, we'd see how some champions are just outdated or so far behind vs the new bloated ones ( Ekko don't blink) .

4 more bans seems like a silly number to have a discussion about , but think about it if you had 4 more bans how different games would be.

And finally , items in League are designed to make you get ahead if you have the gold to get them. In Dota2 , items are designed for tactical purposes... a lot of items in Dota2 give you a tactical advantage not a raw one... having actives that can give you an edge in team fights or if you don't use em' correctly just screw you over. Unlike League there is no "Take this item and get more power, lel".

I could go on and on how the game is more balanced. Smoke of Deceit, Shadow Blade, Blink Dagger... and many other items that allows any hero to be played and be effective.

Dota2's balance doesn't rely solely on heroes but also in its itemization.

You can watch 10 Dota2 games and see so much action and so much hero viability. And then you can watch 10 League Games and see the same 15 champion picks. That tells you so much about game balance, but people are always fan boying Maokai Ekko Azir Caitlyn Lucian ...ect

To finish it off , Dota2 has a sandbox / custom game mode Dota2 has a better client (You can mix n' match your own skins!)(armor pieces for 90cents in the market) (Make the map look different? Announcers? Ect) Dota2 graphics are better , you don't buy a skin because of some "portrait" art that looks NOTHING like it looks in game.

Ect. ect. ect.

My experience when I tried.

"No locked camera? Dafuq?"

(I don't have the patience to get used to unlocked right now. Sue me.)

That sounds like heaven compared to league.

I'm so happy this is finally opening people's eyes. Dota2 has a even steeper learning curve that might see daunting at first... but I feel like its totally worth it. However, I still keep SMITE for short and fun games. xd [slayer-jinx-catface]

I tried DotA2 once. Maybe it has to do with ADHD or something, but I couldn't feel confortable with the HUD... So much clutter.
