Question To Anyone With A PBE Account

anyone else trying to log in at the moment? I know this isn't the PBE area, but more eyes here than there overall.

I am wondering if there are people getting pushed further into the queue somehow or something because I've been sitting here 10 minutes, and in that time my position in the Queue just keeps going up (I'm about 500 higher in the queue than when I started, and my wait time just keeps increasing).

This happening to anyone else? Started at around 1100 and I'm now at 1614 somehow.

I had to get rid of my pbe so its dorment. Ive been posting on boards via tablet and.phone because my computer is dieing. I may be able to sneak a game in but my laptoo doesnt stay charged for long. Hoping to get good desktop soon. For both. Games and schooling.

But till then.no pbe for me. So I cant tell if I know about this or na.

#ive often pondered getting rid of my pbe after testing the marksmans. Im an adc main so I would love to help. But...

But the reason I wondered about getting rid of it is because.I really just play live most of the time. Pbe is fun to test and post results on the test boards but its no fun to just play.. even testin in pvp is hard because.many ppl dodge if they dont get the new thing and I know I could just play a regualr champion while other testers get to play the new thing. But its.all just aggrovating in a way. You know?

Im sorry im blabbing on your post ive just been keeping my feelings inside and I need someone to talk to about them...

Hey Xonra,

There was a large volume of players logging in yesterday due to all the preseason changes being updated on PBE. This generally isn't the case on PBE, and there is usually only a login queue when something huge hits the PBE like these changes, or a new champion.

No worries! There will likely be a queue with all the new stuff coming out, but it'll die down after a bit. ^-^

Do you have any idea on how many people get accepted to PBE everyday?

I'm not sure on the numbers, but I do know we've increased the acceptance numbers due to new things hitting PBE that will need testing.

I too am getting issues with logging in and also am unable to report a bug about it on the PBE board. posted something about it here Is there a problem with the PBE and the boards? Or am I just doing something wrong?

I'm able to log into the PBE boards without any issues. I'm using this link.

Looking at your post, it looks like there was a login queue which is normal. With all the new changes, everyone is trying to login and check them out. (The timer was also resetting for me on Friday, but I just left it logging in and I eventually got in.) Unfortunately, you'll need to wait it out - there isn't a way to skip the login line.

If you're unable to login to the PBE boards/PBE client, please submit a ticket so we can take a look at your account.

Are you logged in? If you are, can you try using Ctrl+F5 and see if this resolves the issue?

I am logged into the PBE community. Pressing Ctrl+F5 does not resolve the issue.

Okay, looks like the boards are having some issues and we're working to resolve them now.

I was wondering if anymore headway had been made with the pbe boards. Haven't heard back and still am unable to access the boards.

The boards issue should be resolved. If you're having issues logging in, I would suggest tossing a ticket to Player Support. There may be an issue with your login info, and they'd be the ones to take a look!

Since you're able to respond to these posts I might as well leave my concern because no one seems to wanna answer. I've applied two straight years and along with others have never heard anything back yet some players who rarely play league applied and got a pbe account within two weeks. Why is it we never hear anything even a reason as to why we haven't been accepted?

I read a post where someone threatened to uninstall league over no harrowing skins this year and you guys responded. Really?

Why is it that I cannot get a response on something like this?

Why are players who have been applying for months on in not getting anything yet people who play once a week get it?

Hey NightEfx,

I'd responded to the other thread because I had context behind the release of skins, as well as how the normal Harrowing event is being modified and done differently from other years.

As for the PBE, I don't handle who gets accepted/rejected. However, who we accept depends on what we'd like tested.

In general, we're looking for highly active level 30 accounts (but if there's something we're testing for new players, we'll be looking for active lower levels). If we're releasing a new jungler, we'd be looking for experienced jungle mains.

In addition, we do consider a player's toxicity level when going through applications, so, if you're not a positive player, you'll be less likely to receive an invitation to the PBE community.

Who would I need to speak with because I'm very upset at this point and it's even more upsetting reading people who don't even play the game frequently get accepted within two weeks of applying. I mean c'mon let's at least be logical here because I feel and others I have talked to on the boards feel similar to me in being tossed scripted answers for a response here.

Player Support may be able to provide more information about the PBE and who/why x people are getting accepted and not others. Unfortunately, this isn't my area of expertise so my knowledge is limited here.
