Am I still the support at this rate

I main support, and whenever Volibear is free (until I actually buy him) I usually run a few games as support (same goes for other weird off meta picks like Velkoz or Gnar ). So here I am anywho in this last game, we're doing good, I'm managing to get our Draven some kills, but then we get this result down here.

He starts falling off a bit, ganks start happening, the lane gets chaotic, we both get low, and I start to let go of what little holding back I am doing w/an already aggressive support. Soon I start getting more and more kills w/how fed I'm getting, managing to get a triple at some point even. I wasn't the hyper carry here, but when games go like this (and trust me I'm not complaining when they do) am I really a support anymore? When I'm carrying harder than the adc? This has happened before with other picks, both on and off meta ones.

Well you are still the "support" just that you are carrying, just as the ADC is still the ADC even if he/she feeds and isn't carrying at all Supports are just as much a part of the team as everyone else and they are just as important

Yes you're still the support, and it's still less than optimal for you to be taking kills (or any necessary money.)

Just because you start to get gold and maybe even do well with that gold does not mean the ADC wouldn't have done just as good or better, and it certainly doesn't mean it's the best thing for your team in the long run.

supports can carry.

you're still the support because someone has to buy items like mikaels, aegis, sightstone, etc. and that's the role you signed up for.

it really ticks me off when you have "support" players get a couple kills in lane and suddenly decide their gold needs to go towards snowballing instead of vision control and protecting their carries.
