That moment where you feel stupid...

I literally just realized something about chromas. They're simple recolors that you can be done w/ little effort.... and I just realized that I've been seeing more "3rd party program" bans than there were a long time ago. Used to see youtube vids of custom designed skins people used, but didn't see bans for it very often that I can remember. I sort of assumed that it was a convenience charge for chromas, but the tos that let recolors not be done simply and turn them into a ban worthy offense is kind of an ingenious solution to take something that ostensibly is about keeping people from cheating at the game, and turn it into a way to prevent competition or alternative options.

Damn I feel like I should have realized that sooner.
