False report claims

I just played a game with a Janna who, after losing our game, falsely told everyone on the enemy team that I was racist and said racial slurs to him. But I didn't do anything like that!! The guy seriously just tried to get me reported for that!. In cases like this I feel like the person making the claim and knowingly lying about it should be punished by the tribunal but what am I to do!? I want some justice!

  1. Report begging is, itself, reportable, especially if they are using it to harass (or lie about) someone

  2. The system looks at whether a report was made after a game, not how many reports were filed. That's to protect solo players from mob reports and to give solos a voice if they are receiving grief from a premade.

  3. Reports have weight. Filing false reports lowers the weight until that player's report is extremely unlikely to actually do anything.

  4. In my experience, most people don't like filing a report for things they don't see. If you said nothing in all chat, it's unlikely the enemy team reported anything. In fact, the guy asking for reports is just as, if not more, likely to receive one.

  5. Report him back. As said, asking other people to report someone is considered a form of harassment.

  6. I you end up with a "You've been reported" pop up, don't worry too much. All it is is a notice that you've received an abmormal spike in the number of reports you've received recently. It is not a warning that you're about to get a punishment.

The game is full of those.

I got reported for * intentional feeding * in a game where i finished 7/8.

I died to my lane matchup 2 times till he roamed once i didn't call mia and got some easy kills then he snowballed.

Funny thing is we still won that game, but my whole team reported me for intentional feeding lol.

If you're innocent you will be fine.
