"You're ruining the integrity of this game" - Jinx 2K15

Short story:

Ranked 5's, during champ select and the two last picks (me and someone else) see that they have a full AD comp. The other guy wanted to play top lane but it was taken by Gangplank. After i saw that they were a full AD team comp, i asked him if he would like to play renekton (his main) bot lane with me, and our first item would be thornmail and we could stack armour and HP. Long story short, after a little bit we got our thornmail and jinx kept dying to us. After around her 5th death, we became so tanky that we rarely died to even the Master Yi on their team. Jinx then stated that we were "ruining the integrity of the game" based on the fact that we were "abusing" thornmail against a squishy ADC bot lane.

After a while i ended up feeling really bad about it because she was getting verbally abused by her team. But really, i dont understand what she could have done against a fed renekton and sion? I know she could have bought armour penetration or something. But there's literally nothing she could have done. If blitz pulled one of us it just granted us a better opportunity to jump on her.

After this game i had to question:

• Were we ruining the integrity of this game?
• What could have Jinx done?
• Would a strategy like this work in higher elo? (This is silver IV)
