What Are The Risk of Downloading Custom Skins for LoL?

So just now, I was searching up for "is genji like master yi?" until it showed me a link where you can download a custom Genji skin for Master Yi for only you to see. So I was like, "That's pretty cool, maybe I should try that."

But the thing about me is, I am always cautious. Like if this has to modify LoL, I would be unsure, but in this case, I want to do it, but I just don't know if there will be a risk, like making problems for me to join games like last time, and I really don't like reinstalling League. If any of you knows this, are there any risks? Thanks!

Riot has specifically stated that while custom skins itself are NOT bannable, since this is a third party software, they are not liable for your computer getting viruses, etc. Also, only custom skins that will not give you a competitive edge.

For example: Wooxy, a custom skin downloader, is 100% legal to Riot's ToS and you will not be banned for using it or custom skins. MKLoL, while allowing people to download custom skins, ALSO has a competitive edge to it with a special Jungle Timer built in that Riot considers unfair, so you will be banned for having the program on your pc, whether you used the jungle timers or not.

AKA: Make sure you know what programs specifically Riot allows, and which ones they do not. I know Wooxy is safe because I myself used it in the past. Just make sure you download custom skins from a site that seems legit as you could also download a virus.
