How is it possible for a silver 3 to be in my plat game?

The enemy team's adc was silver 3 and their support was silver 1. How is this possible?

Eh it all depends on MMR. When I was in promo for G5 I saw quite a few plat and ex plat players both on enemy and my team.

i wanna know why a player like me who is UNRANKED gets put in game vs plats and diamonds in normals and riot thinks thats good match making.

Normals i could understand im pretty sure they just let anybody play with eachother. Not that it's the RIGHT thing to do, but i guess thats just the way normals work. I dont know man. I looked back at the guy who was silver 3 (the adc) and he's boosting obviously. Silver 3 and he goes 20/0 every other game lol

lol im told normals have a separate mmr then rank but if you gold and higher your rank mmr should be part of normal match making so a player like you who is plat dont get vs a lvl 28 player and make them hate the game more then they already do with the toxicity and verbal abuse they encounter. i have 2200+ wins in normals was silver last season but i only played 15 games of rank and i dont play rank cuz im afraid of being bad, i dont play rank cuz i just dont care to. i try to have fun in normals. but im told if i do rank ill always get placed with people of similar mmr but as you can see its not true.. lol.
