An idea for story developments for the Mount Targon factions
Right now, Mount Targon has the fewest Champions coming out of it, and could use some more. I've got an idea for something to add to the faction's story, but it's a work-in-progress.
Jot Notes (expect changes)
- Champion: Deneb, the Harpy Matron (work-in-progress)
- Deneb seeks to reclaim Mount Targon for the Harpies, who were originally annexed from the mountain by the Solari.
- The Mount Rakkor Harpies regularly raid the Rakkorians for their food and other supplies. The two sides are bitter enemies, and do not seek peace with each other.
- Deneb's only daughter was killed during one of the aforementioned raids by Pantheon.
- Deneb seeks revenge over her daughter's death, but knows she needs an advantage over the Rakkorians. Specifically, she'd need to take the Solari out of the picture, as Harpies are nocturnal creatures and are sensitive to daylight.
- To gain power over the Solari, Deneb seeks to block out the sky, and gets Diana's help in the endeavor.
- Deneb lies to Diana, claiming her spell will block out the sun (leaving out the part that it will block out the sky, and thus also block out the moon). Diana buys into Deneb's lie, and the two are essentially allies in their quest to defeat the Solari.
