Taric Rework Hype!!

Everyone knows Taric is getting a rework (tentatively before the next new champ), and everyone knows Aurelion Sol is coming out (most likely next patch. Most people have seen the Targon lore and know that there were two unfilled circles. But not everyone knows that Aurelion Sol has a crapton of interactions with different characters, including Taric, in which he calls Taric an Aspect! That's right, our favorite 'joke character' or 'build-full-armor-and-go-1v1-anyone-on-their-team-without-dropping-below-half-health character', whichever you prefer, is joining the baker, the Dark Souls reference, and the 'omfg why does no one ban this?!' assassin as vessels for the might of Targon. You're not gonna believe me, but I called this as soon as I saw the unfilled circles, and Riot has basically confirmed it!

As a bit of a backstory, Taric is currently a farm boy from another world summoned here to help the people of Runeterra, much like Nasus and Renekton. But since the summoners don't exist anymore, that doesn't make sense, so they retconned Nasus and Renekton into Ascended Shurimans and now they're Retconning Taric into Mt. Targon!
