Why is there a Decline Button on Que Pop?

Has it ever occured to anyone, that it is essentially useless. First off, if your going to decline the que, why are you even in the que???? Second, if the que pops and for some reason, you don't want to accept the que, just wait for it to expire...

It just seems useless to have the decline button...

I actually used it today because I was trying out a new mastery page with Eve, then I realized that I queued without creating that mastery page. I had just looked one up and decided to use it and forgot that I needed to create it on my own game. So yeah, it serves a small purpose.

And yeah you COULD just wait for it to time out which is only like 10 seconds but still.

I think the only reason they have the decline button is because maybe you want to leave really quickly and not wait? But you do make a point, why are you even in the que.

I just think you decline if you don't want to wait for it to expire? I don't know

The decline button is there so that if something comes up and you'd normally just wait for it to expire you can just decline right away and save the rest of the people on your team the ~10 seconds. Politeness demands a button.

If something pops up while you are waiting, and all of a sudden you can't play anymore, the decline button serves a small purpose

I remember back in season 2 when there wasn't a decline button, and you were forced into champion select. I honestly like the new system better, being able to decline games while you just realized that you had something to do.

6 months. A decent necro, but nothing particularly spectacular.
