If improving diversity was the goal, why did rito remove mangus?
I mean, why couldn't you keep both items in the game? I'm honestly not sure how anyone can think you improve diversity by removing an item. Please help me understand your logic rito.

hmmm, i believe their thinking was that, every AP jungler ( tank or assassin) would but the same jungle item + enchant, because the stats on it were amazing.
so in changing it to its current state they feel that more tanky AP junglers will build the tank enchant instead. (thus changing diversity of builds/build paths for junglers)
( this all being conjecture of course)
Very true, Runeglaive is simply Sheen and everybody knows only some AP mages can trade with Sheen efficiently..
