R.I.P Dominion

Whether you love or hate Dominion, wanted to play it all the time or forgot it was there, this is kind of a bummer.

It is official: "We’re permanently disabling Dominion and removing the Crystal Scar from custom games on Monday, February 22."

So with people asking for other game modes to get attention, and other maps to give more flavor to the game, Riot is responding by completely removing a game mode they abandoned to collect dust. Instead of balancing it, advertising it, making it more attractive, they are going to officially delete the gamemode as well as the map it is played on.

I won't pretend I played Dominion all the time, but I am disappointed that this is the outcome.

I guess if you did play it at least, you get a summoner icon if you have 100 matchmade wins (which probably about 7 people do).
