I really need help!!!(mmr system)

I've been on a losing streak tough to 40 ish afks in a row and for somehow i am silver 5, o lp lost around 12 matches and did not get demoted. I was silver 2 at the beginning of this season.now if i win i only get 15 and if i lose i lose 22 lp. wtf is up with that. And i won 3 in a row lost 1, won 3 again lost 1 and won 1 more and my mmr according to op.gg is still low and when i lose and go check it it goes up and when i win it goes down. wtf is up with that,i really need help understanding this bcus i cannot get out of silver bcus of this reason.i have to win 8 matches so just to get my promos and if i lose my promos i'm still losing 20 ish lp and winning only 14-17

its because the mmr system believes you don't deserve to be there. I kinda was in that situation. Hit gold, and hit a brick wall. Trolls/afk's, I couldn't carry 4v5s, and I dropped to S2. And I am still back in S2/S1, back and forth, but my mmr has stabilized now, so I am like 20/20 with my LP now.

if you lost 12 matches, you need to win 12 more than you lose to get back to your old mmr.

if you lost 40, you need to win 40 more, so if you keep winning 3 and losing 1, that means you need to do that about 55 games to get to where you were.
