Lore vs Champion concepts
It feel as if a lot of champions that are out don't follow their lore like they should.
Aatrox honestly has to be one of the biggest ones to me. I love his kit right now, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't fully utilize his lore like it should. He was supposed to be a person that inspires those who witness him fighting. Now before I say my next sentence, as a lot of people won't understand where I'm coming from, he's PERFECTLY BALANCED as is right now, I just feel his lore doesn't fall quite in line with how he was made. Wouldn't it make sense to make his ult be a buff to his team, one of which gives him the most significant part of it? I mean, to me, it only makes sense, since he inspires those with vicious fury and power when they witness him fight.
As comparison, let's look at his rival, Tryndamere. His lore fits his kit perfectly, as he was nearly killed by Aatrox and his "undying rage" is what kept him going, and made him live, after which he mastered the ways of the berserker.
Another one who doesn't make much sense to me, for the lore they have, is Urgot. Why would they turn a man who was known to dive headlong first into battle, into a ranged bruiser of which his abilities don't fit? Why does he fire his scythes at people, instead of wielding it like an actual scythe? Why wouldn't he be melee and instead of having a cannon on his arm, replace it with something else more sinister that he could use as his primary weapon, since he is supposed to be a nercomatic cyborg. And his ult, what would be the point of switching places with someone when they instead, if he was melee, could have made it a gap closer or a grab?
This is last one is less mechanics, and more just attitude.
Orianna is supposed to be modeled after her counterpart which was a sweet, innocent, naive girl, who died while training to join the League of Legends. Wouldn't it make more sense for her to have the attitude of a carefree, young spirited, albeit creepy teenage girl? Give her voice a little more life to it, but make her sinister. And by that, make her have quotes that are very dark, yet in a tone that just sounds all around like a robotic version of a teenage girl who doesn't understand the situation she's in? Kinda like an older version of Annie, with darker words, but still a carefree attitude about them.
My point being, I feel they should either change some of these people's lore, or change their mechanics to be more fitting. There are more, but I don't wanna have to comb through more lore again to remember which ones. But off the top of my head, some champions just don't make sense based on their lore. I love how most of the champions play, I just feel like their lore doesn't make sense for the skills and weapons they employ.
