^ Title. Anyone that was around back then that could describe what it was like before Urgot Tier became the bar for how bad a champion is doing?

Urgot was pretty OP. He was played in lanes with Taric and was pretty damn unstoppable. Taric would stun someone and shred their armor. Urgot would get a free target lock and just outtrade absolutely anyone while shreding whatever armor remained. On top of that, his ultimate had the full range at level 6 so he could just jump you anytime he pleased. If you got behind, you just didn't get to farm anymore. No exceptions.

I don't think he's the bar of how bad a champ is, it's just that he is one of the few tanky adc's and tanks this season just don't measure up since an adc can some how build to kill tanks in 3 hits. Not to sure about season 1 (or if he was even in season 1) but season 2 if you didn't know how he worked, you where in for a bad day. He would tend to go top. You see the blade hand, see him top and think "oh, hes melee" (very early for poor ol' me) then he starts shooting at you and throws you off. You attack, He shields and you die. you run, he target locks you and you die. Then after he gets fed he would ult you into other team, and you die. Him on the other hand would shield, do his poison bomb then start spamming his Q and get like 3 kills out of that.

He was never OP.

Btw, you can still play him and wreck people, at least in Silver.
