Can someone explain why people hate the new splash arts?

Because only like one or two are better and the rest are worse. Don't need to "unify" the skins to worse ones. Give China the good ones instead of giving us the shitty chinese ones. This isn't commy country.

Well, there are some that I like just as well, some that I like better, and some that I like worse. However, if one I like worse is one I happen to have already bought, I'm SoL - it's not like I can make the choice I would have made if they had looked that way at the time and buy a different one instead. So I do think it's reasonable for people to be vexed if their own skins are being changed after purchase.
