"If it's not about kills, what is it about?"

Was jungling Amumu. Top it was Renekton vs. MonkeyKing . Renek fed horribly, finishing 1/9/2. He kept pushing lane, didn't ward (1 ward placed), and was building Ravenous Hydra as his first non-boots item. I had to kindly ask him at one point to please not push lane and just last hit instead. He wasn't being toxic and blaming his team like many would in that situation, though, so I can't get that mad at him. In fact, he didn't even call for assistance at any point during the match. He was completely silent. No comments in chat. No pings. I kept heading that way to help, but either he'd die before I got there or Wu would back off and head elsewhere.

Wu finished 16/3/7, absolutely wrecking us. Not much that any of us could've done once he got fed, especially since it was MissFortune Renekton Thresh Lux Amumu vs. Sejuani MonkeyKing TwistedFate Nautilus Graves . Anytime I'd try to go in to CC them so my team could follow up I would get hit with all their CC myself and get melted before anyone actually could follow up.

Lost cause or not, though, I noticed at one point that my pink ward at blue buff was the lone ward on the map and I said "just an honest question: why am I the only one with a ward out?" Our MissFortune said "I have 6 kills and I haven't warded." I explained that this game isn't about kills ("this isn't COD"), but rather objectives. I was promptly told to "screw off." I feel I should mention that I could ping MIA and then the entire path of someone's roam and it was still never enough for them to run for their lives. So I'm not sure if wards would've changed much of anything, but maybe actually seeing the enemies on the map for themselves would've helped at least a little.

After the match, our MF was still talking, asking me the question you can see in the title. I reiterated that it's about objectives. She asked me, with a heavy dose of sarcasm, if I'd gotten any, to which I replied that I couldn't seeing as, you know, they were crazy fed and it was GG from very early on. I mention that wards could've helped stem the bleeding, making it harder for them to catch us out with their roams, and she tells me "it's not my job to ward. i'm the adc." She then says I should've warded more. I tell her I bought wards every back (well, almost; item 2043 on my 2nd, item 2044 on my 3rd, 2 item 2044 on my 4th, item 2044 on my 5th, and 2 more item 2044 on my 7th). "Clearly it wasn't enough," she says. I, typing in all caps at this point because the stupidity is just too overwhelming, say "IT'S EVERYONE'S JOB TO WARD."

Her next response was "I did well and I didn't ward." She finished 7/5/4. I point out that, in actuality, she didn't do that well because she kept resetting her bounty, giving them more gold (most notably shut down gold), and ask if she even understands how this game works... then leave the post-game chat because I'm fed up. She sends me a friend request soon thereafter, presumably to argue with me some more, but I don't take the bait.

I just... I just can't take people in this game sometimes.

They give free trinkets with250 to upgrade and nobody uses them except support mains it's really sad some people will never get better at the game

Some games cannot be won. Fighting an uphill battle in chat against people like that will do nothing but stress you out. You just have to let it go sometimes.

Where's was the support in all this ? Has he bought a sightstone ? Health on Thresh is good too. Happened to me too. When I jungle, I can find myself the only one warding. (Even when I adc but that's another story ^^') Ok ... Even the support don't ward. XD'''

But for the problem top-lane, it's the responsibiity of the jungler to try helping that lane.

I imagine the jungler as the big leader of the team. He who can decides watever he wants to do from pressurize a lane when the laner not there to ganking and taking objectives (dragon, turret etc). As a jungler, I am learning to have eyes everywhere and try to take the right decision.

An example here : Ok, Wukong beginning to get fed but we are at 10 minutes mark. They might want dragon soon. I could get a dragon by ganking bot-lane and boost the strenght of my top-laner telling him to just farm under turret for now. Something like that. I had to do this in one game because of a Singed who got problems against a Tryndamere. He shut down the Trynd with my help at one point. Yeah, the game was won.

Jungler is so hard to do because one decision might not be the right one but I like it when I make the right ones.
