We want the Ashe who just got styled on to think “welp, I got outplayed”, not “that was bullshit”.

Full quote

"We also want to make assassins more fair, which isn’t the same as reducing assassin damage. In some cases, that means giving you more ability to fire back. In other cases, you need to be able to see an assassin coming and try to escape them. We want the Ashe who just got styled on to think “welp, I got outplayed”, not “that was bullshit”."

And yet here I am, seriously thinking that they just gave assassins more tools to kill people and less ways to deal with them.

Rengar Khazix Katarina Say hi

To the people talking about Ashe, this isn't my quote it's from Riot on the assassin rework: here

Only delays her inevitable death.

Ashe has nothing to do with this post, that was riot's quote of assassins being apparently more skilled to play now.

it's funyn cuz they wanted to "extend burst window".

They extended the time needed to burst rengar, cuz he can build bruiser. Meanwhile rengar still 1shots LUL

To be fair, Rengar's burst combo was: R- Empowered Q, Q, W, E, AA, Empowered Q - With the most damage being dealt in the first 2 Q's and the rest coming more as a follow up just in case you survived.

Now it's something more like: R- Q, E, AA, W, Empowered Q - With the most damage being dealt with the LAST Q.

His gameplay pattern is just as bulshitty as always, but his combo has the brunt of the burst delayed by a noticeable margin. Now that he won't have Olaf's ult on his W, he should be a bit easier to deal with.

As an ADC, you should stay away from all Kat daggers. The thing about assassins is that they either fall behind or snowball. But when they get fed, it's hard to counter them unless you have a decent support. Kha is very squishy and doesn't do well in team fights. Rengar is still the same as always.

I was just quoting Riot, anyway, my point is the assassin rework didn't really accomplish anything except for buffing assassins and making them hard to deal with, also, Kha'Zix can get away insanely easily, the only time he really dies is if he goes in badly.

Kha'Zix is stealth-based now. It's great. Harder to track him down without proper vision. Rengar is now a hunter! Rewarded for killing everything, not just the squishy. Katarina hit the mark as the jumping, dagger-throwing, spinning doom that she's always wanted to be, while having outplay potential and being zoned from daggers by tanks. Daggers aren't mindless now, which is nice, as well as her W not resetting and being pushed 24/7.

This was supposed to give more outplay potential to non-assassins, that is my point, it's now even harder to deal with them than before.

And yes kat can be zoned from her daggers but its not like she really needs to pick them up considering all her abilities are free of cost anyway.

Actually, if you actually get to the point where the Assassin is actually fighting you, your counterplay needs to be extremely limited. This is necessary in order for Assassins to function properly. An Assassin needs to be able to always kill a squishy 1v1.

The 'outplay' is strategic, not gameplay skill. Teamwork, proper warding, and map awareness contribute far more to deterring Assassins than people give credit for. Assassins thrive by catching a squishy in the wrong place at the wrong time. Make sure you're never in that wrong place, and you've beaten the Assassin.

Then if you account for the rest of the champions in that game assassins aren't so magically countered, then when you realise you need your whole team to do (when playing in solo queue) you realise that this isn't as easy as it sounds...

"Actually, if you actually"
