Why wait after declined already?

Just seems like an obvious thing that makes people wait for no reason. Why must I wait after the second person declined the game already? Makes me wait for the other 8 to respond...should just instantly cancel that game.

EDIT BASED ON FEEDBACK: If I click YES and someone after clicks NO, everyone who clicked YES is automatically put back in queue since they game will not occur. This still allows for removing the future people who vote NO or are AFK (They can still see how many people voted YES/NO).

Why does the vote to surrender window stay on the screen after two people have said no?

As far as I can tell, you wait to see if any of the remaining people are afk or also want to decline the match. This speeds up the process in the long run as you don't have to wait for those people in the next match found thing

If the 2nd person clicked no and match found cancelled immediately, the afk players would be put back into queue. Since they're afk, the next found match will be declined by them and so on, so finding a game would become a lot harder. So since the queue waits for all 10 players responses, if the 2nd person declines and then 2 people after don't respond, they'll also be kicked from queue. It just tries to eliminate the possibility of every match being cancelled. Sorry if I over-elaborated.

Thank you everyone. Makes sense, but they can do one nice enhancement:

If I click YES and someone after clicks NO, everyone who clicked YES is automatically put back in queue since they game will not occur. This still allows for removing the future people who vote NO or are AFK.

Why click "Play" if you're just going to click "No" when a game is found?
