Excessive Swearing and Foul Language by Riot?
Moved this from General Discussion so it's easier to see how many people agree / disagree with me.
Very recently I've noticed several members of Riot using foul language seemingly for no reason. It's pretty much out of the blue (never seen this happen before in the past few years) and although it's not used maliciously it is quite serious for Riot's staff to be using such language so openly in what is effectively a game for young people. I just want to say that I personally am not offended by bad language as long as it's not directed at anyone in particular, but I think Rioters should acknowledge that there are young children who play League and that excessive swearing for no apparent reason is not a good idea. As with any job, staff swearing in front of customers is very unprofessional and generally speaking shouldn't ever be done.
The specific examples that I'm referring to are:
-
Dynamic Queue Roundtable vid. Socrates, Pwyff and Lobster continuously swear just for the sake of swearing. Conversely, neither Scarra nor Gbay99 swear at all, perhaps because they know better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwPa1SGLGv0

Ask Riot: Chromas and ChampUp post. The word "shit" written in a rioters post for no reason. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/community/q/ask-riot-chromas-and-champup

New champion Kled's quotes. 4 different quotes containing the words "crap", "bitching" and "ass". He also has a quote with the word "shit" but it is bleeped out. I understand that Kled is supposed to have this crazy, rude, gung-ho personality but to my knowledge he's actually the first champion ever to have profanities in in his quotes? Correct me if I'm wrong. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Kled

There are a couple of other recent videos in which Rioters swear but the words are bleeped out.
I'm fully prepared for the downvotes I will probably get and the comments telling me to harden up or to stop being a baby lol. I'm not demanding that Riot staff stop swearing, it's just some feedback for Riot to ask themselves if this is the direction they want to go in. As I said, even though they don't make up a majority of the player base, you cannot deny that there are children playing who perhaps should not be made to listen to such vulgarities both in game and in official Riot posts and videos. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels as though speaking that way in front of customers is unprofessional and unnecessary. Just my 2 cents.
