"GG Noob Jungler Never ganks."

Well, I'm playing Master YI, A farm jungler. the enemy team has a Vi, a gank Jungler. If you don't ward and over extend like crazy then get ganked and die, please don't have the audacity to blame me when im 9/1/4 at 25 minutes and got sated at 16 minutes. I just played with a bot lane that went 0/16 at 25 minutes and only blamed me the entire game for their lost lane.

If you're one of those people that do that, please stop and think before you harass your teammates.

Obviously you're ganking with that KDA XD

But honestly, junglers need to balance farm and ganking. If you're that laner who's basically asking your jungler to gank every 30 seconds... stop. Let them farm, dammit. At least let them clear a camp or two in between ganks.

the moment someone says something negative just click tab and hit the mute button next to their name. it will save you so much stress and allow you to focus on your game a lot more. let the salt stay in the saltshaker bro

If you're at a lower elo you probably wanna go warrior over devourer because they really need the ganks if they're behind. :x Because deaths tend to tilt people and ganking tends to reverse that.

Had one game where my botlane called me garbage and that they would report me because they were losing hard and I wouldn't gank and wouldn't talk to them. Once I finally came out of the jungle MasterYi item 3930 item 3153 item 3006 and started melting everything, got about 10 kills and pushed every lane to the inhib turrets and the enemy team surrendered. My botlane still asked everyone to report me SMH

TacoTheKitten9/11/2015, 3:38:41 PM2 votes

Yes, but then it's another matter when you're countered, pushed back up against your own turret, been ganked already multiple times by the enemy jungler, and to top it off you have a jungle that's supposed to gank a lot instead of farm.

But in all seriousness don't flame jungle for not ganking. I play jungle a lot, and i know when someone flames me i really just get hesitant to gank their lane at all, mostly because they're an ass, but also because if i fuck up i wont hear the end of it for the rest of the game. Jungle is a pretty hard role to master, so sometimes people don't gank enough, or don't farm enough. Everyone's working on something.

I swear I have an aneurism everytime someone pings for a gank while pushed up, and if they aren't they start pushing and being wildly agressive as I start coming.

gg noob laner cant win alone XD

EndlessSorcerer9/11/2015, 2:50:49 PM2 votes

I've had my mid-laner complain that I've never ganked once when I've ganked top 3 times (all kills), bot 2 times (a kill and a double), invaded the enemy jungler at their first buff (killing them and taking it), and killed the dragon twice before 20 minutes into the game. It was kinda funny, honestly.

They just want to blame someone who is not themselves for losing the game.

"But ... but ... wards give no damage ..."

Spacesuit Spiff9/11/2015, 10:39:08 PM2 votes

Even funnier when the laners completely ignore your ganks and still complain like that

Trajan299/11/2015, 10:50:02 PM2 votes

The point is that players need to understand how the jungle operates. It's about finding the balance between farming and ganking. The arguments about ganking taking away time that could be used to gain gold and experience (assuming the gank did not produce a kill or assist) are entirely justified. Laners need to be aware of their position, what their champions can or cannot do against their lane opponents, and how their jungler works as a champion. For an example, as Lee Sin, ganking early is awesome and that's where his main power lies. But with a champion like Diana, ganking pre-level 6 can be somewhat difficult, but after that, it's like a massacre. It just requires understanding at all sides. But the primary point of the post is accurate: laners should not be attacking their jungler for not ganking for them every step of the way, because that's not their job. Their job is to get strong and help their teammates, when it is advantageous for both the laners and the jungle.

When I’m playing Kayle jungle and people are complaining… Do they not understand the concept of a farming jungler?

Manwalrus9/12/2015, 3:48:51 AM2 votes

Sadly lots of people believe the jungler should win their lanes for them.

disregardable9/11/2015, 8:58:35 AM1 votes

Well if they're 2v3 the entire laning phase, yeah, it's pretty much your fault.

LaceUp239/11/2015, 3:40:37 PM1 votes

Sounds like your bot lane were business majors. For real though, I hate the part of this game that is random chance of who gets the feeders or not :/

Raiku Kawisa9/11/2015, 4:19:23 PM1 votes

I would put money down that he was pushed up almost constantly so every time you glance bot lane, its in a position that impossible to gank...

Alphadef9/11/2015, 5:10:29 PM1 votes

I mean you could have it like I had it. Top and not win and mid is slightly behind. My bot lane decided that means I'm supposed to camp bottom lane.

Shroom Junkie9/11/2015, 5:39:46 PM1 votes

I hate junglers like you that never gank... but if you're dying to ganks 24/7, the enemy either has a Rek'sai or Zac on their team, or you're overextending like a moron and don't even have wards.

Terozu9/12/2015, 11:47:46 AM1 votes

Fun fact, meta speaking the jungler is supposed to get fed faster than the enemy jg and then help mostly top , mid or bot incase of an emergency but otherwise just farm and gank top and youre being meta, being me however, i will never do that as i play teemo, kat, and annie in the jg and maainly focus bot lane.r

Lugg9/11/2015, 6:14:35 PM1 votes

I'm sorry, but just because you are a farm jungler trying to get sated doesn't mean you can't take 15 seconds to pressure a lane and keep the enemy team honest. You don't have to get a kill to make an impact in a lane.

Granted, I do agree that it does come down to the lane if they don't ward and overextend. However, you can still help them out.

Boxpencil9/11/2015, 1:26:48 PM1 votes

That happened to me once.

T RexHasTinyArms9/11/2015, 1:40:20 PM1 votes

No the best is when it's that yi/shyvanna/warwick who is 3-0-2 or something at like level 5...... and you realize the farm jungle is out ganking the majority of jungles you've played w/ the last 10 games you've played. MWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Also if you had a losing bot lane and you had sated at 15 or 16 you had a miracle bc your enemy jg was fucking terrible. It's hard to get sated much below 20 w/out a lot of ganks going right or at least 1 drag, and if your bot lane is losing hard and I'm the enemy then bitch gimme mah dragons. Seriously though, if your bot lane is losing hard and you're getting dragons then the enemy jungle is kinda weak and needs to improve their game.

WTFMatee9/11/2015, 6:24:40 PM1 votes

If your playing a jungler like yi then sure its a givin your not gonna gank a whole lot.

BUT with that said YOU chose a carry jungle so if you don't carry the game it IS indeed your fault for losing.

It's not quite selfish but not ganking AND going like 1-5 is like not ganking as lee sin.

Just realize whatever jungle you pick is your role.

Kinda like if you go jungle tank and everyone else is squishy but you instead build full ap

Tehlawlfirm9/11/2015, 2:43:07 PM1 votes

That's funny... I play yi all the time and gank lanes. I don't stay in lane and farm all game and let my lanes get shit on by the other jungle. Clearly you are the reason that game was lost.

TwoD9/12/2015, 6:48:24 AM1 votes

I don't like playing with sated dev junglers, too boring to play with even worse when they start to feed like idiots

Darrus9/11/2015, 10:42:03 PM1 votes

In my opinion, even if you're playing a "farm" jungler, you should still take SOME time to gank. Or else it's 4 vs 5 early game, and that cripples your team pretty badly. And ganking early with MasterYi actually isn't half that bad. His ult makes his ganks very consistent.

Silver Fluffenbu9/11/2015, 3:03:16 PM1 votes

idk, i'm seeing a 78% loss rate on your role as jungle in recent games with 0/5 wins as Yi. maybe "farm jungle" isn't as most effective as ganking

Scramrail9/11/2015, 3:16:25 PM1 votes

Ive very understanding of the nature of junglers with the recent system. I understand that some junglers just want to sit in the forest killing little critters until they get their Sated Devourer and the emerging like gods and 1v5ing the enemy team or whatever.

But I had a game a few days ago where our Udyr jungle never wanted to stop farming even after he got Sated. I was playing Viktor against a Varus mid and, having never played that matchup before, was having a fairly rough time of it. I didn't bitch out Udyr though, or beg for ganks or ping for help, I sat in my lane farming, assuming that Udyr would be an absolute monster once he got Sated. I even questioned my bot laners when they started kiting their opponents up river towards the Dragon that Udyr was in the process of soloing, which could have easily resulted in an enemy triple kill AND dragon to boot.

But after Udyr got himself Sated...he continued to sit in the jungle and farm his camps almost on spawn. I was blown away, and started asking why he wasn't doing anything productive now that he was Sated. I don't remember what he said, if anything, but I started tilting because here was our chance to start winning and turning the game around, but this guy was just...playing Farmville. Im pretty sure all of our lanes lost to some degree, though we definitely didn't feed and could have easily turned the game into a win with a Sated Udyr, but because the guy didn't want to do anything but farm, the rest of my team, including myself, decided to just surrender and be done with it.

TL;DR: Its totally understandable if a jungler is really trying to focus on getting Sated Devourer considering how powerful the item is, and if that's what youre doing just explain it to your team and tell them not to expect ganks for a while. But once you get yourself Sated you really need to make up for lost ground in the lanes and start pushing objectives. Otherwise, that Sated Devourer is entirely useless, and you might end up tilting your team into a loss regardless of how good/bad they did in lane without your help.
