I'd like to know the thought process behind a person who AFK's

Not talking about people who give up in what they deem "unwinnable games" (which quite often aren't the case). I'm curious about the people who go AFK (or troll) to punish teammates. For example, a Draven in our last game who went AFK after Xin Zhao took "his" (Xin's) red buff. (I suppose it's worth mentioning he eventually decided it was bs and came back to play)

Is this a behavior exclusive to League or does it bleed into the game from their inability to deal with any minor bump in their lives?

I've made a couple posts about this, but forget scrolling through my giant list to find them. Useless ass boards profile.

Basically, for the most part, this game is designed so that your team and the enemy team can completely deny you any form of enjoyment. When you're so far behind that you aren't doing any damage to the enemy, and your utility is useless, the only thing "fun" left to do is CS.

If your team doesn't suck, they'll let you CS, but most of the time, they won't. They'll take as much of your CS as possible as well as rage at you for being useless.

Then, you can do nothing.

Riot actually addressed this with Bard's meep collections, which I honestly think is the most awesome thing they've ever put into this game, but for the other 125 champions with no meeps, no damage, no utility, and no opportunity to CS...what else is there to do except feed, follow your jungler around, or afk?

Mom: Onastacia! Can you come help unload the car and put the groceries away!

Is in middle of game ._.

Sister: Ona, I need you to hold the baby while I give Ashley a bath.

Can't play league while holding baby, can't put baby down, she'll cry like heck

I'll tell you whats going on in my head "Dang.. bad timing to play.... HELLO REPORTS! LEAVER BUSTER, AND ANGRY TEAMATES!"
