Show people's rank in thext of instead of Icon. I can't see the icons, and "level 30 is meaningless.

Everyone is level 30 it seems by the time they write on these boards. We all lock people up anyway. Depending on what someone is talking about I feel I need to know their experience level. I would like to know when their account was created but I guess that isn't as telling as if they play ranked and they are commenting on competitive play. I know some might use it for shaming but these arguments about abuse and exploitation are pretty thin to me. I pay little attention to them. I would like to be able to highlight a persons name in a thread and know what division he is in. It would be a time saver. Am I alone?

If the person's correct about something then he is no matter what skill level/rank he is in right?

So I wouldn't say pasting people's rank right next to them is generally a good idea, since well, apparently classicism is already a thing in these forums and I don't wish to make the matters any worse.

EDIT: And we already have a feature similar to what you're asking for, you just need to hover your cursor over the person's name, a small division icon will show up at the bottom of the pop up if he was above Silver in the previous seasons I believe. But still I am against pasting it right next to player's name though.

So, because I'm unranked, I'm incapable of recognizing potential abuse cases or highly exploitable systems? Does that mean my rank is a necessary extension of my critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as my intelligence?

Because that seems strange to me.

No offense, but I see enough of "you're bronze" in response to any disagreement whatsoever.

It's one thing when someone complains about a champion being OP when they play something like smite+TP+ item 3085 Nami on a regular basis (and NEVER do well), but generally I think rank is a bad idea to display here.

You see, during discussions—unless people's specific ranks come into play—it should be the content of the discussion, not one's rank. This will only encourage ad hominem, "attack the man" so to speak, rather than thought. Who knows, a Bronze V could realize something that slipped past a Diamond I's eyes.

a level 30 and a level 15 may have the same amount of experience?, thats what bronze 5 is for?
