Unfair ruling in EU LCS.

If you watch the LCS like many of us, in the game between Roccat and SK, I'm sure you saw Roccat get stomped. But should that really have happened? If you noticed in the champ select, SK gaming player was hitting "random" champ button a lot to kinda troll, and ended up ACCIDENTALLY locking in the wrong champion because he ran out of time. Now the kicker? THEY RESET IT! They re-did the champ select upto that point, and then let them re-pick the incorrect champion. That champion that they accidentally selected was Kalista, and when they fixed it, they instead picked Lucian. In which he went 5/0/7. Personally I think that in that level of play, if they run out of time and lock the wrong champion, they should have had to play it. You don't get that kind of treatment in normal ranked. They made a mistake that was completely their fault, and they got a rest. Anybody else think that is unfair?

No...

You don't get a pass if you disconnect/crash or have a bug in a normal game either. Not going to mention those? Championship games are clearly held to a higher standard so this nonsense doesn't get in the way and give another team an unfair advantage like a misclick lock-in or a DC 4v5 match.

He didn't misclick though. He was intentionally fucking around and then he fucked up because of it. It's a "YDI" sort of moment. Not a genuine mistake.

I think he should have had to stick with it.

It's not like he locked in Poppy either. He locked in a viable adc when they needed one.

There was a game at Nationals in Seattle last year similar to this. I honestly don't remember which game it was (that whole damn weekend is kinda blurry), though I'm pretty sure it was a TSM match. A player (I think Dyrus?) had started the game with the incorrect rune/mastery setup. They paused it to verify his pick, then reset the game.

And y'know? I'm glad. LCS is competition at the highest tier of play. I want to see everyone performing at the absolute top of their game every game.

I think its ok for them to get a repick because those matches are to show who is the best and how are you going to show you are the best if you are playing someone you can't play your best with plus im very sure roccat wouldn't have felt satisfied if they won like that just imagine

YA guys we just beat sk gaming because they weren't playing the best they could

thats just the equivalent of someone going easy on you and then you beat them. IMO I wouldn't feel satisfied if i only won because someone went easy on me
