Mastery points for 3s? Why not?!

I would love if a Red could post on this and explain this to me please.

Why is it that we don't get champion mastery points for 3v3 twisted Tree Line?

Yeah it's not super popular, but there is still a very dedicated group of people that play it, AND it has ranked options.

So why is it that we don't get champion mastery points on it? For 3s I main as bot lane, APC, but I have like no points for him, except for the occasional normal in 5s I play him.

So I'm just curious why we don't get mastery points for this mode.

Something something... 3's are used by bots pretty heavily to build IP/EXP... Something something, We're never getting mastery in 3's...

For ARAM, at least, Riot mentioned that they don't have a post-match grading algorithm worked out, which is why they haven't enabled Champion Mastery on the map. Presumably, the same situation applies to TT, meaning the Mastery team prefers to work on adding new Mastery levels and rewards instead of developing a post-match grading system.

Why a post-match grading algorithm is strictly required before enabling Champion Mastery, I'm still not sure.
