As a support, how do you deal with someone like this?

One of the first items I usually rush when I am support is a sight stone, Obviously. I use it constantly to grant my team vision on popular bait and gank bushes and prevent ganks from the enemy jungler, on top of that I constantly buy pinks for greater vision and to keep objectives like baron and dragon marked.. But more often then not I will get teammates who do this and I have no idea how to deal with them.

Ally: We need more wards! Me: I already have 3 down, and a Pink! upgrade your trinket if you want more vision. Ally: lol no, u should buy more wards, supports need to ward, we have no vision! Me: why would I buy wards? I have a sight stone. Ally: So you can put more then 3 down noob. Me: ... are you being for real right now? Ally: Report our support, not warding. Me: what? Ally: you need to put more then 3 wards down. Me: I CAN'T put more then three wards down its impossible. The system only allows for a single player to have up to three wards on the map. Ally: You just need to buy more wards. We have no vision. Me: Pings where the three wards and the Pink are Me: Just upgrade your trinket. Ally: Report our support plz, refusing to ward. Me Le sigh...

Honestly, how do you deal with this kind of stupidity? I know the mute button is there but in this particular game the person who was complaining about wards was actually doing very good and I did need to communicate with him certain information i couldn't do with pings.

No. There is no information that NEEDS to be communicated that can't be done so with pings. Mute or listen without retorting. Those are your options.

You can do one of these three things: First, go full damage dealer and carry his sorry-ass. Two: Abandon him in lane and go help out the other laners by ganking. This helps your team as a whole since a support's job is not only to babysit the ADC. If you already warded the chokepoints, then he should be fine until they expire. If he still whines about having no vision, he's stupid and not worth saving. Three: Buy all the wards possible and plant the wards in a triangle in lane in the same spot over and over and over again to get the Illuminati message across so they get the message across that YOU CANNOT WARD MORE THAN THREE STEALTH WARDS.

its sad that there are people actually like this, but then again these are the people who complain that there isnt any vision and instead of actually buying wards and helping the team they complain and get killed in the process and blame you for no vision!

its even more sad when Riot gives a free trinket that people barely use or even more so upgrade! so many options given to the player and they still pull BS like this. honestly though you cannot help people like this. they need to learn from themselves, and hopefully one day they'll actually learn!

Sounds like a troll.

I've never had someone say this in my elo and I main Support. If they did, I'd just mute them or if it's bad enough, report them for harassment.

It's not just the Support's job to ward, it's the whole team's job. If they want more wards, then drop 75-100g and actually assist with vision instead of complaining.

He's either a troll, or so incompetent at this game he can't grasp one of the most broken, yet simple mechanics of the game.

Maybe he should have warded more -_-

The support shouldn't be the only one warding. Sightstone's purpose is to be gold efficient for supports (and sometimes junglers), not to make one person a warding slave. You got the cs and you get the kills, so buy your own damn wards with your gold income and help your support out. >.<
