Banns & low platinum
I'm low platinum on my account though in season 3 I was on my alternate diamond 3, didn't play this one much, Neo Metalsonic. Especially this season since I was chat restricted. Just giving a brief description.
So I was grinding some games, since it is extremely team based (meaning ->60% in soloqueue is made very hard) upon returning. I've played quite a bit with Malphite and Galio my KDA is 4.0 on both as well as having a 55% winrate and 70% winrate on Malphite (it would be higher if I can substract the early losses of the season start where I wasn't playing seriously, same goes for KDA). With that out of the way, the people I encountered were immature often didn't listen to shit, I ping them back 7 times and they still do a stupid gank on my lane and die, like the horrible Lissandra in my previous game.
Apparently I got a 14 day bann for telling people who pull these kind of shenanigans that they are r%%%%%ed and should fuck off or go normals. I'm not even sure why Riot hands out 14 day banns for ''behaviour'' I'm not interested in their sociology or reddit tier social science experiments from their latest tumblr employee. It's not even that I use extreme racism, make threats or do anything that is against the law. On top of that Riot places me for 40 minutes some games with an Ezreal and Elise duo troll bot who feed and then waveclear to extend the game pressing no on every surrender vote but obviously not interested in winning the game. I'm wasting 40 minutes on that, it is not fun, it is aggravating and I can deal with these kind of games. Why do I get banned if I call them r%%%%%ed as fuck? If I had to work with someone like that in real life I would call them out on their bullshit as well obviously.
I don't know it's just childish probably won't return rest of season as well, this is just the last straw. I'm not a kid. I'm not volunteering to be some kind of social science experiment. And I'm certainly not pleased by getting banned for ''toxicity''. My friend that I speak regularly with on Skype has been ranked restricted due to ''toxicity''. I guess he ''flames'' too much as well despite rarely saying anything in game because he has every ally he isn't in group with standard on mute and all chat off.
You don't need a Phd in gender studies or some other liberal arts bullshit to come to the conclusion that doing a group effort where you have 1 total r%%%%% is not fun and very aggravating. Especially if you can't abandon the group project, get out of there or do anything about that. It's just being totally helpless, combine that with a ranked environment and people will indeed get frustrated. It has nothing to do with that the ''game has a toxic setup'' or any other bullshit.
I've seen the pictures of your team working at Riot. It could use some cultural diversity. Maybe add a few uneducated Somalians to the software engineering department, replace some people. I guarantee you that your employee's would get pissed at these guys being unable to do anything while earning the same salary. Of course people will get frustrated at it and ''toxic'' it doesn't take a Phd in gender studies.
