So... I was eating fruits with an empty stomach and decided to check the internet regards the matter. Surprisingly, I found this:

"So stop eating fruit! It is plain to see that sugar is incredibly harmful, and fruit is packed full of it. And as for fruit juice? Fresh or not, fruit juice is simply highly concentrated fruit! But without the fibre! It is the same problem multiplied by twenty. DO NOT DRINK FRUIT JUICE!"

Is this real?

While suggesting that fruit is bad for the majority of people is false, there are times where that is accurate.

As fruit is more easily digested by the body than vegetables, fruit starts a meal so it doesn't sit and ferment in your stomach as it processes harder foods.

People with yeast infections actually shouldn't eat fruit (except grapefruit, which kills yeast) unless they're on anti-fungals, as sugars accelerate yeast reproduction to extraordinary levels.

Outside those two stipulations, suggesting that fruit can be detrimental is absurd, even diabetics can eat fruit.

Actually, I haven't Googled anything yet but the acid in certain fruits can give you a serious stomach ache on an empty stomach - think oranges, grapefruits, etc (or juices).

HA! This is the kind of stuff that makes me laugh myself to sleep. It's what happens when someone takes half of a Biology course in college and decides they need to change the world based off of their "knowledge". Much like anti-vaccination campaigns.

Juice in general is actually not good for you. It's packed full of more sugar than a soda.

You should avoid a diet with too much fruit, the sugar will make you fat if you eat too much and the fiber is only good for your digestive tract in moderate doses (you can have too much and it will give you diarrhea). As with everything, it's best when taken with moderation. There's a 'correct' amount of every food group for us to eat. It's no big deal to go overboard in certain areas, but it's certainly not good for you.
