Blatant disrespect of CertainlyT and other Rioters (got deleted in G&B so re-posting here)

Maybe its because I'm an older guy myself, but in these forums I see too many people so quick to use harsh and unfair judgements of people who work on this game. Specifically CertainlyT gets a lot of crap from these forums for doing his job to what he feels is the best of his ability. I feel no one should be immune to constructive criticism, and I'm sure rioters even agree. I'm sure they all are ok with our criticism if its in a constructive matter, but the problem is...well it isn't. the second problem beyond the blatant rude and disrespectful words I've seen on here is the lack of perspective.

When I see posts like "certainlyT's creations are all cancer and trash and this man deserves to be fired for the shit he has put out. he has no idea how to properly balance or blah blah blah insult insult insult". you get my point. a lot of the time its because the community is frustrated with current states of gameplay or they didn't like what rework he did. Fair enough. I'm sure certainlyT doesn't mind that you dislike it, its feedback for him and lets him know where he MIGHT have messed up. But the man is just doing his job. He is trying to create new, interesting, and exciting stuff for the game, and you just cut him down in the harshest of ways. There is a RIGHT and a wrong way to voice your OPINION, which is what it is. And for those of you who say "well its widely known the entire community doesn't like CertainlyT's or (insert rioter that gets hate here)'s work"...that is where perspective comes in.

Even if a post gets 1000 upvotes and the majority of this forum's posters agree on an opinion...it does not necessarily mean that opinion is fact or right. Generally speaking its likely, and I'm sure the rioters take note of this. But league of legends has MILLIONS of players WORLDWIDE and you expect your 1000 upvotes or sometimes less to be instantly considered the law? Sure, im sure they consider what you have said, but they have A LOT of things they have to consider from LCS to bronze V in nations across an entire planet.

I understand the frustration people have, but its sad and a little disheartening to see the disrespect on here people have for the ones trying to make us a good game and make it fun. I love league of legends. Its an amazing game and I'm a little jealous I don't get to the do the awesome job these guys do. These guys are hand picked to do what they do because riot feels they are best for their position. considering the growth, popularity, and awesomeness that is league of legends, I'd say they have an idea or two what they are doing. If you are going to criticize don't cut them down in such a rude way. Respect the people who try to make your experience more fun for a living.

if you do a shitty job, you get crap. same in politics, same in business, same in videogames. if you consistently do a shitty job and your superiors keep letting you do this job despite many people being very unhappy with it, the crap will simply get more and more.

basically you get what you deserve.

PS: just as a side note, i think giving him crap for his champions is absolutely not disrespectful. what really is disrespectful is that despite his champions being really unhealthy for the game and zero fun to play against, he is allowed to continually release more of the same. that is flat out disrespectful to the community.

edit: he aint the worst of the bunch i gotta say, even tho he made yasuo. but man people just forgot about how to make good champions. maybe they should learn from shurelya instead of being all like "duuh show some respect for my kalista its such a fun and cool champ"

CertainlyT's disrespect is fairly earned. When, say, Mordekaiser's rework was first announced, a lot of people (myself included) came out with respectable, constructive messages about why is the rework bad and what should be fixed. Unfortunately, all of these messages have fallen upon the deaf ears of CertainlyT, whose only response can be summed as "I did this change because of blah blah, too bad you don't like it since I'm not changing them anyway." And if good criticism gets completely ignored, only thing left to people is to rage and insult only to vent their frustrations if nothing else at least. Not like CertainlyT would read those insults anyway since he never reads any player feedback altogether.
