@Riot, Why did you remove the ability to look people up in the client.

So recently riot took out the ability to look at peoples profiles in the client by TYPING their names. This could be an oversight but i am not sure. I wish riot would of said something about removing this feature when they made the IRL friend finder.

Taking it away from the client does not make sense. We can use sites like LOL king to do the exact same thing. All this is going to do is force people to use 3rd party sites instead of Riot's client. I personally do not understand why Riot would want to drive people to go to other sites more than they already are.

We can still look at people that we recently played with profiles so the functionality is still there. Though if you decide to close your client that list get wiped.

Overall this is a bad change for the client.
