it's very unsportsmanlike to point out other people's mistakes. people have different definitions of toxic, but saying sarcastic "gj"s definitely decreases morale on your team.

Depends on the context. They just feed first blood? Toxic. They missed a smite and lost dragon/baron? Toxic.

this is why this is turning into a 5 year old playground. He's just being sarcastic its not toxic... It's rude maybe, but if he doesn't harrass him afterwards its not really doing any harm. When i miss smite and someone says you suck, I know its a joke... But dam those sensitive people? gg you get reported.

It's one thing if you're on Skype with your friends, but you never know how strangers are going to react. If some random say "you suck" to you, do you really know it's a joke? What's with some people, anyway? I doubt they'd say "you suck" to some stranger they're playing football with, for instance.

Would I report someone for a sarcastic gj? Probably not. That doesn't mean it's not toxic, and it probably adds up. If someone says gj sarcastically five times in a single game, then that's probably worth reporting. Try to keep a positive attitude while playing, and if you can't do that, try to at least be neutral or don't type at all.

I mean I would take it as a joke if that person hasn't been an asshole the entire game. If he didn't say anything that made it seem like he's an asshole, he's joking 99% of the time. If the person was just like screaming gg we lose the entire game, no shit he's just being a rude bitch.

I only say it sarcastically when it's to someone on the the other team. Like when 3 people dive just to kill me and they all end up dying to the tower, I say stuff like "gj" or "pro dives".

If it's someone on my team screwing up I say something less rude like "Was it really worth?" or "Maybe be a bit more careful".
