The boards are a minority

Now look, I will probably get downvoted for this but whatever.

Quite often I see posts like "Front page no red reply!!!!" or "The boards have been telling Riot this for ages!!!!"

Most of the time popular posts get somewhere between 300-100 upvotes, take into consideration that League of legends has over 64 million active players.

Just because something is high upvoted on the boards doesn't mean it's the right thing or whatever, the boards are a minority.

(It'd still be nice if they replied to highly upvoted posts but it just annoys me when people think the boards represent the whole community).

A very small minority, I have to add. Current boards have less posts per second than the old forums did. Riot really fucked up with this change and they've never owned up to it.

While the boards don't represent the whole community, as only people tend to go on here when they want to complain. It's still a pretty good indication of wht's going on if you filter out all the balance QQ.

Well it's still a reasonable sample size statistically speaking. Though there is some bias, in that the people who are emotionally charged are more likely to be pushed to go to and/or post on the boards

The boards are the vocal minority. We are passionate about the game, be it positive or negative, but we are still the minority. While we may represent the majority, that still does not make us right, nor make our complaints accurate (people complaining of an issue is indicative that an issue exists, though people often are incorrect about the cause of said issue).
