Could we get a champion guide section on LOL website?

We need it, even if it was just a special section on the boards wouldn't it make sense for there to be a dedicated section to champion guides here? I know there are third party websites that do this but if you wanted to make a guide for a new player wouldn't it make sense that new players look here first? I also understand that gameplay is the section for this kind of post but it is always bogged down with "nerf X" or "buff Y" posts and it quickly becomes impossible for anyone to find a guide. I think it would be ideal to have a special section on the website but even if it was only a section of the boards I think it would be very helpful for players learning.

I miss when the champ spotlights gave rune/mastery suggestions as well as recommended build paths. The new champ spotlights lost alot of quality.

Those were nice to give a basic idea for new players. At this time, I can't even imagine being a new player trying to learn everything in this game. I guess they phased out the rune/mastery suggestions because they are getting rid of that system but still....I find it a big wasted opportunity for LOL when it could have a champion guide section where players could post guides, tips and tricks, and other useful information for players learning a new champion. I think it would be amazing if those guides were linked below any champion you click on on the main website section but even just a boards section would at least give new players a place to check out.

Nah they removed the builds, runes and mastery suggestions in like season 3-4. Long before they even thought of dropping runes. They also useed to suggest team comps in season 1-2.

I see. I started in late season 3 and I remembered doing exactly what they said lol. I mean at this point I do my own thing and I can analyze teams to make buying decisions based on experience but I remember season 4 and 5 where I looked up every scrap of information I could for any champion I played. I think the site I used the most was lolking. Or was it mobafire (or something like that)? ANyway, it helped me a lot with learning the basics of champions, knowing the items and how matchups play out. Gave me the foundation of knowledge I have now.
