Riot's matchmaking system... ffs ;.;

I'm a bronze two, but I don't play ranked. I did my provisional matches in season 4 as soon as I hit level 30. I'll admit I was literal garbage back then. SO naturally I got placed in bronze two and I was too discouraged to climb. I played tons of normal games the rest of that season, and improved quite a lot. I was so excited when season 5 came around so that I could do my ranked provs and see how much I'd improved. I went either 8-2 or 9-1, I can't remember which. I got placed in Bronze 5. Naturally, you can imagine how frustrated I was. Then I read a post form Riot that said that season 5's rank was like 99% based off of season 4's rank. I was beyond mad, and I had improved a ton. I climbed fairly easy, but just got tired of how toxic everyone was in ranked and quit it again.

    I now almost exclusively play normal games because I find it to be infinitely more fun, and that's what video games should be for. But what I can't stand is how when I play normals, my teams are almost always gold-plats, and so is the entire other team. People in my games make fun of me for being Bronze, even when I play so much better than them and/or carry that game. I'm raising a smurf so that I can do actual placement games on that account. It just frustrates me how bad Riot's matchmaking system and ranked system are :(
