Riven is a bit unfair

I'm not here to QQ, I'm just here to say why I think riven is kind of unfair. Yes she has some counters like Garen, Darius, and Jayce, but I find that even they can have a rough time with her. I play riven sometimes and even though im not very good with her I can usually do really good just because she has a lot of damage and all of her moves scale off ad. Her mobility is also really strong and its pretty hard to gank her seeing as she will stun the jungler or the top laner and most likely e and q away. Anyone know how to counter her better than just playing garen and silencing her?

She is an all in early game champ. Her strongest 2 counters are tanks and wards. All you have to do is keep river warded, your Mia pings up, and survive lane and you will win. They are going for a fast game ending while your going for a 40min one. Getting behind by CS only is fine

To be honest she needs a slight buff. A riven that doesn't get kills in the first ten minutes is in trouble

Riven has 0 poke, and some of the lowest hp/5 in the game (next to gnar who makes up for this with mega-gnar hp gains, and soroka who's a healer) So poke her in the 7-9.5 second interval her shield is down in the laning phase Other than that, try and re position the minion wave to your advantage, her poke naturally pushes the wave, so if you have a good understanding of creep dynamics, you can force her into an uncomfortable situation. It also helps to learn to farm under tower, shes completely useless in that regard due to her lack of poke.

From my experience as a riven main, the area where most people fuck up is; Reaching for caster minions at level 1 or 2 (the only people who can do this are those with an attack speed slow, like nasus, they fuck up my broken wings combo) Fighting when my minions can agro onto them Trying to 1v1 me

Other than that, just don't let her get an extra 30 cs on you by 20 minutes. If you don't have CC, any Riven with a massive CS lead can dive you under tier 1 turret.

You don't have to fight riven, you don't even have to trade, shes not all too effective late game against any peel comp, so just hold off.
