Are we Boards Snobs?

You know who I'm talking to. We reply to all the posts... we're all probably 9-5 people working and browsing the boards. Do you think we're biased against certain threads because we see them every single day and in some cases several times a day?

Hm. I find there to be quite a bit of variety here compared to most gaming boards. Other than the Lee Sin hate which has been pretty consistent for a very long time, at least.

I'm biased about people that make unreasonable demands, use false or no data for their claims, and are toxic and/or elitist jerks. You might say I'm biased against bias too.

There are a great many issues that you see all the time that will never really go away, so it's natural to be short with people who post them. For instance, elo hell posts. elo hell posts will always be around, but they will always be stupid. They're always going to get the same arguments against or for the existence of it. Should we be annoyed by them? Hell yes!

I don't think we're snobs; I like to think that the rest of the community just needs to use the search bar before they post. If it's an "elo hell" thread or something that everyone thinks is exclusive to them, some people have to stop thinking they're "the special snowflake" that is good but can't carry because their teams are always such trash. Maybe then we'd have threads to complain about.

Do you look through the New and Recent tabs or just the Hot and Best ones? I'm curious to know.
