Hextech crafting and other game modes
As someone who plays dominion almost exclusively I currently have no way to earn champion mastery. Will this new system allow people, who don't play summoners rift, to earn these rewards as well?

Same boat different map. I play ARAM's. If i recall they talked about 'working on' getting champion mastery to other modes (Which seems to be pretty tied into the crafting system) a while ago. Still hasn't happened tho, so I'm not going to be expecting it anytime in the near future. :/
Riot's been pretty vague about this topic. About five months ago, Socrates confirmed that Riot wasn't working on extending Mastery to the rest of the maps. About two months ago, Ghostcrawler mentioned that they're still discussing it. Socrates just reiterated today that they're still considering it, but have no details yet.
Considering that timeline, a full Mastery release for the rest of the game modes likely wouldn't be until late-2016. Maybe Q2 if it's only a partial release with minimal features.
Maybe allow people to earn rewards from just playing the maps? So let's say x number of games/wins earns you a reward?
