So this is a poll question. Since it riot is taking so long, should they just start the preseason patch now?
So I figure at this point, why bother bring up the server and down a few hours later? Why not go ahead and patch right now since everything is up?
Theoretically less down time over all for ranked (since ranked has to be shutdown hours before server shut down).
Thoughts?
Xypey3 votesUmmm pretty sure they are doing the preseason patch now. Kinda the purpose of the extended downtime.
manmarine3 votesno they have it set up for tomorrow
Angry Monster1 votesTomorrow is less than 8 hours from when they would normally do the patch.

This board is not owned by riot, there is no mention of the 20th on riots NA status. Transfers were disabled until a maintenance on the 18th....which got pushed back to the 19th...which is whats going on now, purpose was to finalize the season and start the pre season.
Xypey1 votesOh look restart your client a great big gigantic patch, imagine that.
Sarutobi1 votesWell it schedule is still for tonight. and this is still the maintenance from this morning. although i will say if they were going to take this long they might as well just patch it in since it looks like at the rate they are going we'll probably get 1-3 hours of live till they come back down to do the 4.20 patch!
Angry Monster1 votesI am not sure they are. It would be a nice if they were.
jvjonster1 votesthis is to test stability in case they have to do extended maintenance while down
Sukishoo1 votesThey did patch in 4.20 It's live now.
