Some faith in the League Community has been restored?

So yesterday I set out to play my first Udyr game after champion mastery had rolled out so I could start racking up dem sweet titles for the best manbearpig in the jungle. But as if a cosmic sense of karma saw me trying to play Udyr in a normal game reached down and said "Naw b!tch", my ping started jumping from 90 to 500 during loading screen. I sat there in horror with nothing to do as the game finished loading and my ping never stabilized. I was so sure it was going to be a brutally unfun game and that I was definitely going to get flamed if I was even able to play at all.

As soon as we got in to game I let my team know my ping was fluctuating and that ganks would be at a minimum until that changed. After finishing my first clear I still hadn't seen the enemy Vi so I took a chance to exit the game and reboot my router. No such luck. Ping was now stable between 300-500 for the rest of the game. Mid and Top were losing early but no one ever got mad. Top actually came back on their own and with a little bit of luck me and our mid managed to go 1 for 2 vs their mid and jungler and the game really started to turn around.

It was really heartening to see people putting up with my sloppy "sliding around" 500 ping Udyr play and the fact that we stayed in a positive enough mood to come back and win a game where I was lagging that badly was insanely awesome.
