To the Jungle Darius in my latest ranked game

As some of you may know I'm currently grinding a lot of ranked seeing that I quite enjoy the competitive aspect of it. Sadly I've been stricken with some nasty losing streaks lately, resulting in me being somewhat pessimistic and overly sensible in most my games.

But today something happened that made me remember why I love this game so much;

Plat II solo Queue, ban phase went by without any major hiccups, the usual stuff being banned away like the edgy ninja, the zaunite punk and the black exorcist. Once it was our "support"'s turn to pick he instalocked Veigar support. Fair enough, Ap supports aren't that rare to begin with but our ADC already started to get his jimmies rustled. Oh boy...

Mid simply locked him his Ahri pick, being awfully quiet the entire time.

And then it was my turn to pick. -I shall bring great suffering-> Mordekaiser Adc's tilt level increasing by 10 degrees, already declaring me a troll to pick Morde into Irelia , which is one of my easiest matchups but that's beside the point.

So, our ADC sees our team with 0 peel and picks the sewer rat, not exactly the wisest choice but I don't judge anybody's pick as a Morde main myself.

And then it was our Jungler's turn. Nothing in the world could have prepared us to see that angry face with the white steak of hair -They will regret opposing me->Darius JUNGLE

Adc's tilt level increased by 29.5 degrees

Twitch already flaming his SUpport's pick, our Jungler and even myself, declaring that Ahri has to carry this.

So, we load into the game and oh behold, Mordekaiser draws first blood with a cheeky Q on the Irelia just before Ahri dies miserably under Fizz' tower.

And how does Ahri react to this?

BY REFUSING TO PLAY. Yes, the nine tailed fox simply wandered into empty lanes, sitting by towers, soaking XP and doing NOTHING. Saying it's already GG.

Meanwhile our "Support" starts feeding his black and blue asses off, making our ADC tilt even HARDER.

One would think we would be done for. To end this day in a DEFEAT.

But there was still hope! Mordekaiser starts to reap one kill after the other as he teams up with Darius, kicking asses and taking names all across the map while the other three members of our team feed, afk and complain.

Calling it a loss, refusing to play, blaming everybody and their mom.

But with every minion slain, every objective claimed, every foe vanquished the two Juggernauts grow into unholy steamrollers.

Their team consisted of a Fizz, an Irelia and a Kha6, relying on assassinating the enemies to win.

But us Juggernauts are above Assassins in the food chain of summoner's rift, flattening their team without allowing them to group and shut us down.

It was glorious, fighting side by side with a Jungle Darius, holding unto this victory and never letting go as we managed to win a 4v5 while carrying two other teammates weight.

This jolly cooperation with another Juggernaut main really brought a tear to my eye and I wish him best of luck in his future games.

I played jungle Darius and it was legit. As and ms runes, 0-12-18. His clear was slowish but he was tanky and did allot of damage with cinder + black clever.

You know its easy to play a juggernaut because they aren't team dependant and are good when you always stomp your enemies. But Listen here when you are a squishy but you want to carry and they are all assassins, and your frontline gets obliterated and a Jax that afk top lane farming, and you have like long cooldown even with 45% while they have super fast mobility and insane damage output. Its very hard to carry. We lost that game and I was looking at our damage chart Annie Highest damage for both team, Highest kill contribution, Highest assist contribution. Even if we lost that game I was still happy somehow, I was telling myself, I did my part. For me Solo queueing is Gambling.

Well done! I always love to see stories like this. Reminds me of back in season 1 when I was still learning to play Garen.

Played a game of Twisted Treeline with a Morde on my team. Our other team member never connected, but with the careful guidance of my Morde ally I played safe and helped him win the match.

It's always nice to see a win against seemingly impossible odds, but even with the nostalgia of my early League games I have to say your story takes the cake and eats it to.
