When submitting fan-art, can we get in trouble if the artwork isn't ours but we give credit?

I just submitted the above artwork, but it's not my work. However, I did credit the artist and linked to his Deviantart page. The rules for the Fan Art section aren't completely clear, so I'd like to ask to be safe.
Also, as an extra note, would the above artwork be too lewd for the Fan Art section?
