Is it me or does riot have a mirror matchup detector?

Everytime I buy a new skin or a new champion, I play that champion next game (if the instolockers permit it) and (outside of draft mode) I always get paired up in a mirror. Without fail. I went a full 2 months without seeing a single Ziggs, bought him today and suddenly I go up against a Ziggs, last week I bought Riven and I went up against a Riven 2 times in a row, and I finally signed up for that Garen skin and, sure enough, the whole day I spent playing Garen I faced against Garens, maybe 4 or 5 in a row. Does Rito know what's in your mind and set you up with Mirrors intentionally? I mean, even normally there's an abnormal rate of mirror matchups (should be a rarity not a common occurrence, at least according to statistics)
