Just a thought about MMR
So I've been playing against gold players quite a bit in my ranked matches. This was happening when I was silver 3. Apparently it's because "my mmr is higher". This just doesn't make too much sense to me. So if I lose a game, that means I'm not good enough for silver 2 because I can't beat gold 3s?
Why not just play against the division you are in. If you are win, you will move up to the next one. If you lose, you will move down. I don't feel like people should get punished for a loss in silver 2 because they didn't beat the gold 3 players. My MMR was pretty decent. I was getting really nice LP gains for wining. I was also playing against low-mid gold players. That's all great and dandy, except when you inevitably get those couple games in a row where your bot lane goes 2-23 by 15 mins (true story). Since it's pretty much luck of the draw, these couple games then bring your MMR way down you don't win as many LPs for winning. Then, you also start playing with worse players when it's a random shot of who is going to get the feeder.
Tl;dr: Let me play against my tier players. Also, remove duo que. I don't want a bronze 3 on my team.
